The market value of agricultural products sold "represents the gross market value before taxes and production expenses of all agricultural products sold...regardless of who received the payment. It is equivalent to total sales."
 
In Adams in 2017:
  • the total market value of all agricultural products sold was $13,927,672,
  • the average market value per farm of all agricultural products sold was $60,032,
  • the total market value of all crop products sold was $3,535,256,
  • the total market value of all livestock, poultry, and their products sold was $10,392,416, and
  • the average market value per farm of all agricultural products sold increased by 30 percent between 2007 and 2017.
